BVB International Academy Louisiana

BVB IA America is excited to announce our newest affiliate; BVB International Academy Louisiana.  Under the leadership of Executive Director Jimmy Cook, and a team of several well-qualified coaches, BVB IA Louisiana will debut the 2022-2023 as the newest members of the North American Black and Yellow family.  Together as a well-established club for several years, this talented group has demonstrated their track-record of success, including the current 2007 Girls State Champions.

After meeting with several groups in the state, we feel we have truly found the right club to build BVB International Academy in the great state of Louisiana.

Located in Baton Rouge as their home base, this organization is well poised to grow into all major cities throughout the state of Louisiana.

The foundation is clearly in place for great quality with a tangible passion for the game that exudes the culture of the Bayou state.  Building on this foundation of excellence, Jimmy and his staff look to implement the philosophy and methodology of the Borussia Dortmund Academy and create an intense soccer experience for every player and family.

“We want to create an environment focused on the holistic development of players on and off the pitch. Our focus is to instill a culture of excellence and quality on the pitch, in the classroom, at home and in our community, BVB shares this same vision. By partnering with BVB International Academy we will expose our players and families to the Borussia Dortmund playing style and philosophy along with their training methodology. This pathway will allow players to experience soccer at the highest level possible. Quality technical development of our players has always been a priority, and to be able to introduce them to a new and higher way of doing things is very exciting.  I can’t wait to tap into the opportunities and resources provided to our coaches and players that will help us become the best that we can be.
